Civil Record searches for suits filed against another individual or corporation, they include divorce cases, civil rights violations, judgements of any kind and liability lawsuits. The County Criminal Search is done in County Courthouses around the nation. U.S. Live Scan, Inc. can also do Nationwide Background Checks as well as Department of Motor Vehicle Reports. When you use a public record system like we do, the information researched does not come from a computer system that runs the Social Security Number, Date of Birth, and Driver License Number to see if any hits come out. We here at U.S. Live Scan, Inc use a system that is linked to County Court Houses in California. We also have the capability to access information Nationwide using the same system. Computer generated "background checks" do not validate the information being used. What it does is check if the Social Security Number, Date of Birth, and Driver License Number have any hits, it can not distinguish if they are valid or even belong to the same individual. Our system makes sure that everything being used belongs to the same individual, which is the reason we ask for Social Security, Date of Birth, and Driver License information. The results normally take about 1 to 3 days. Not every system is 100% accurate and anybody that tells you that is very misinformed.
