CHILD I.D.
When your child goes missing for any amount of time your life as a
parent stops to exist. We all have been somewhere talking, looking at
something, or just walking along when in a matter of moments your child
disappears. Those minutes seems like years and when you find them
and see them its such a scary scenario that even thinking of not seeing
them again is the worst possible thing imaginable.

Abductions by strangers is actually rare and happen about 155 times a
year according to the U.S. Department of Justice. Most abductions are
by people the child knows or trusts and by family members. Their are
roughly 200,000 abductions that are committed by family members
each year. Statistics are statistics we all hoping not to be one, as a
parent I had a HUGE SCARE when we were eating at The Soup
Plantation. I was serving myself a salad and in a matter of 10 seconds I
look down to see what my daughter wanted and she was GONE! I
couldn't find her any were in the restaurant, my mind went wild I closed
down the store and nothing. I was going nuts inside when after 20 mins
the cook found her in the back in between a table eating a bag of
croutons she got from the kitchen. I wanted to yell at her and scold her
but seeing her was more than anything. We as parents have gone
through this before and sometimes more than once. It is the most
horrible feeling in the world.

Their is no true way to protect your child 100%. Become educated
about strangers and share that with your kids. Now with the internet
things are harder to control with My Space and Facebook tell your kids
and teenagers to only talk to people they know not strangers and never
meet people they meet on the internet. Teaching your child to say "NO"
is not enough because they are easily overpowered. Teach them to run
when they feel uncomfortable, yell for help, and to tell them to trust their
parents and tell them when something happens that talking to their
parents is okay no matter how small it may seem.

If your child goes missing for any length of time immediately call the
police, they issue an Amber Alert, which has resulted in over 500
children found to date. After this law enforcement has the ability to bring
media and journalistic resources, community involvement, and media
televising it brings a better chance of bringing home your child safe.

As a parent of three
kids the safety of my
kids is my out most
priority. I can't imagine
even losing my kids
because it is the
ugliest feeling in the
world. We have a
system were we
fingerprint your child on
a computer using both
hands that include all
fingers and palms. We
take a picture that
includes side views,
frontal, and 45 degree
angles and put it on a
C.D.. We also put their
name, scars, and
parents info on the
C.D.. Most parents
honestly have no
current info on their
kids beside school
pictures. Our goal is to
provide parents with
resources on child
safety and to educate
them on what child
safety is. Our C.D.'s run
$5.00 dollars. We ask
even if you don't buy
